Fruit dip

16 oz cream cheese
14 oz marshmallow cream
can add a little lemon juice

Beat together

Graham cracker bar

1 C Oleo
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 T. W. Karo

Cook to soft ball pour a layer of Graham Cracker on a cookie sheet and cover with chocolate.

Ingredients:
1 Cup (2 sticks) of Butter
½ Cup Sugar
2 Egg Yolks
2 Cups of Sifted Flour
½ Teaspoon Vanilla (or other flavoring of your choice)
Optional Ingredients:
Food Coloring
Cookie Sprinkles
Directions:
1.Cream together butter and sugar.
2.Add egg yolks, mixing well.
3.Gradually add flour, mixing after each addition.
4.Add flavoring and food coloring of your choice.
5.Put dough on cookie sheet, around two inches apart.
6.Bake in oven for ten minutes or until lightly brown around edges.
7.Remove from baking sheet immediately.
8.Let cool on wire rack.

A little update

I am taking care of my grandma right now, so I haven't really sat down and wrote out some of her recipes in the past week or so.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, she has taken a turn for the worse.

Rich Short Cake

2 C. flour
4 tsp. B. P. (baking powder)
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp salt

Mix dry ingredients & sift twice work in shortening with tips of fingers
add eggs well beaten, milk toss and roll on board. Cut & butter one and place second round on top for baking

Aunt Esther's drop cookies

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening (do not melt)
1/2 c. coffee
1/2 c. water
2 eggs beaten
4 c. flour
3 t. baking pwd.
1 t. soda in coffee dash of salt
Walnut meats or walnut flavor


Cream sugar, and shortening at water; coffee, soda, eggs, raisins or nuts or flavoring
and flour, and baking pwd. which are sifted together
Drop with tsp. and bake in a quick oven
Grease and flour cookie sheet

Note: I added walnut, maple and vanilla flavoring instead of the meats or raisins

Grandma Lockwoods pie crust

3 c. Flour
6 T. shortening
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg beaten add a little at a time don't over work.

Apple sack pie

Mix 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbs flour
Cinnamon
Mix with apples about 4 cups

Mix 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. flour

Crumble put on top of pie
Bake in sack 45 min, last 15 min slit sack

Instant potato casserole

Mix potatoes for home (instant)

Add 2 pound boxes cottage cheese
1/2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
Put paprika on top and bake.

350 degrees 15-20 or until done
